Department of Corrections
Public Safety
Keeping the community safe is the most important goal of the House Arrest program.
Notice to Appear
A Notice to Appear (NTA) is a document law enforcement gives to a youth and their parent or guardian instead of taking the youth into custody. It means the youth is being released home, but the family must follow up with the Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center (JIAC) within 48 hours to schedule an intake appointment.
Problem-Solving Beds
Problem Solving Beds allow for justice involved individuals to stay at the Residential Center for a short period (up to 60 days) and address their biggest barrier to success.
Pay Online
Pay online for county services, fees, and taxes.
Life Enrichment
Life Enrichment (also known as Community Services) offer individuals who would prefer not to engage in paid work for the entire day, the opportunity to enjoy a more laid-back environment.
Juvenile Intensive Supervision Probation
The Juvenile Intensive Supervision Program was developed in 1994 to provide an alternative for juvenile offenders in lieu of removal from the home. JISP clients are either on probation through the District Court or on Conditional Release from the Kansas State Juvenile Correctional Facilities.
