Juvenile Corrections House Arrest

The Juvenile House Arrest Program is the highest level of supervision available to youth in the community. The program provides an alternative to incarceration.

Work Release

Johnson County Corrections offenders ordered to work release are serving their sentences while being allowed to maintain their employment, pay taxes and pay on their program and court financial obligations.

Absconders Search

The absconders list contains information about people who have absconded from the supervision of the Johnson County Department of Corrections in violation of their probation order.

Therapeutic Community

The purpose of the Johnson County Corrections Therapeutic Community is to increase the opportunity for success of adult felony offenders in an intensive, long-term residential treatment setting.

House Arrest

Johnson County Corrections House Arrest involves a philosophy of strictly limiting an offender’s movements within the community through electronic monitoring while using cognitive based intervention techniques to promote behavior change within the clients served.

Intensive Supervision Probation

Correction's Adult Intensive Supervision Program, or ISP, provides community-based supervision of adult felony and some misdemeanor offenders.

Juvenile Intensive Supervision Probation

The Juvenile Intensive Supervision Program (JISP) was developed in 1994 to provide an alternative for juvenile offenders in lieu of removal from the home. JISP clients are either on probation through the District Court or on Conditional Release from the Kansas State Juvenile Correctional Facilities.

The Juvenile House Arrest Program is the highest level of supervision available to youth in the community. The program provides an alternative to incarceration.
