Join the Johnson County Prevention and Recovery Coalition and Olathe Communities That Care for a Halloween-themed, family-friendly morning of fun, safety, community resources and free trick-or-treating!

Bring the whole family — costumes encouraged — for this spooktacular event that will include:

  • Trick-or-treating with local organizations
  • Prevention tips and safety resources
  • Crafts and activities for kids
  • A visit from the Fantastic Fire Department's big red fire truck (9-11 a.m.)
  • Mini golf with a festive twist

The Spooktacular Safety Event is being held on National Drug Take Back Day, a biannual event hosted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to provide free, safe disposal of unwanted, unused or expired prescription medication.
