JCPRD weekly program highlights: Jan. 11-17

The Johnson County Park and Recreation District offers year-round programs, activities, and special events for all ages!

Program offerings for the week of Jan. 11-17 include: Animal Tales Storytime session – Winter Wildlife for ages 2-6 with an adult at Mill Creek Activity Center; six Homeschool Art and Engineering programs for ages 6-18 at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center; Adaptive Rec - Special Olympics Bowling for ages 8 and older at Park Lanes Family Fun Center;  Crafty Hour Pressed Flower Art class for ages 18 and Older at the Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse; four Tap Dance classes for 50 Plus at the Matt Ross Community Center; and much more!

A reminder that while JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend. Persons 18 and older who are interested in a 50 Plus class are invited to call the 50 Plus Department at 913-826-2975 for space availability.
