The first 2026 Lunch and Learn presentation by the 50 Plus program will focus on the “City of Fountains.”

Paul Benson, a longtime conservator of objects at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art who now runs a private conservation practice, will explore how these landmarks came to be, how they’ve evolved and what it takes to keep them flowing.

The event, with a catered lunch, is scheduled at noon Jan. 15. at Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village. Cost is $37/$41 for nonresidents.
