An unforgettable day of horsepower and hotrods will go on display at the free Cars in the Park event from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Theatre in the Park facility, 7710 Renner Road, Shawnee.

The event features a DJ, food trucks, raffle prizes, and hundreds of classic, modern and unique vehicles. While this event is free for spectators, a $10 donation per family is suggested.

The event benefits Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s Special Olympics team, the Stormin’ Rangers.
