Johnson County Transit offers weekday fixed-route bus service Monday through Friday, with hours typically running between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Note: Beginning in early June 2026, Transit will resume fare collection on bus services. Learn more.

Route 401 travels north–south along Metcalf Avenue, connecting Johnson County Community College (JCCC) to Mission Transit Center, and continuing into Kansas City, Missouri to the Country Club Plaza and UMKC.

In Johnson County, the route serves major corridors including College Boulevard, 95th Street, 75th Street, and Shawnee Mission Parkway.

Parking fees at this lot is $1 per hour, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.  About thirty spaces will be reserved for transit riders. Each spot will have a sign that indicates it is for transit riders.
