Two ghoul-ishly events offer a fun way to celebrate Halloween on Friday, Oct. 31.

A Mah Jongg Halloween Party features rotating-table play (no bracket format) from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Drive. Cost is $19/$21 nonresidents.

A new Boo Bash event begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty St., Overland Park. Activities include treats, music, games and a costume contest with prizes. Cost is $15/$16 for nonresidents.
