On Thursday, Dec. 14, the Board of County Commissioners approved its 2026 meeting calendar.

The meeting schedule will include a total of 41 meetings in 2026. The Board may schedule a meeting July 9, if needed.

The Board will continue to meet weekly on Thursdays, starting at 9:30 a.m. in the Hearing Room in the County Administration Building, 111 S. Cherry St. in Olathe.

As part of the adopted schedule, the Board is also implementing a pilot schedule to run Jan. 1-July 30, 2026. The pilot schedule will alternate routine business meetings and general business meetings on a bi-weekly basis. Agendas will be posted a minimum of 10 days before a Board meeting, and agenda review meetings will be temporarily paused.
