The annual Trucks and Big Rigs for Kids event is set to go from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 11 at the Theatre in the Park complex, 7710 Renner Road, Shawnee, in Shawnee Mission Park.

Kids and adults of all ages are invited to explore trucks, tractors, construction and city vehicles up close. From 10 to 11 a.m. the event will be sensory friendly – no horns or sirens.

Suggested donations of $10 per family will be accepted. Proceeds benefit JCPRD Adaptive Recreation and Special Olympics programs.
