This May, join the Johnson County Area Agency on Aging in celebrating Older Americans Month. The 2025 theme, "Flip the Script on Aging,” is about shifting how we think, talk about and approach aging. It’s an opportunity to challenge stereotypes, break down misconceptions and highlight the value older adults bring to our communities.

Throughout the month, we’ll be hosting a variety of classes and events to honor the contributions of older adults and promote active, engaged aging. Our second event is a Virtual Low-Impact Exercise Class, presented by the AAA in partnership with Johnson County Park & Rec District featuring a low intensity Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program. 

This class is free, but space is limited, register online today to reserve your spot.
