Park adds new inclusive playground

An April 15 ribbon cutting has been set for the new inclusive playground and related Phase 2 developments in the northeast corner of Meadowbrook Park, located near Roe Avenue and Meadowbrook Parkway.

Walk-in clinic open two times a week

Residents in the northern part of Johnson Count are now able to get immunizations and other services at the Department of Health and Environment’s Mission walk-in clinic twice a week.

Special exhibit ends March 18

A traveling exhibit exploring the history of federal, of f-reservation American Indian boarding schools, which operated between the 18 80s and the 1980s, is the latest temporary exhibit now being presented through Match 18 by the Johnson County Museum.

Trucks and Big Rigs set April 1

Trucks and Big Rigs for Kids will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 1 at the Theatre in the Park parking low, 7710 Renner Road, in Shawnee Mission Park.
