Candidates sought for local Silver-Haired legislators
The Kansas Silver Haired Legislature is a unicameral (one-chambered) legislature composed of 125 representatives across the state. SHL delegates are 60 years or older and are elected from their county of residence.
COA adopts 2025 Legislative Platform
During the Oct. 9, 2024, Commission on Aging Legislative Breakfast and Meeting, the COA Legislative Committee presented its 2025 Legislative Platform. The platform outlines the COA’s position on legislative issues and is a guide for its advocacy efforts.
Rebate cap removed for year two of property tax relief pilot program
