Board of County Commissioners
Chairman lists JoCo successes, offers vision in State of County
Before a crowd of more than 700 people, Johnson County Board of County Commissioners Chair Mike Kelly delivered his third State of the County address on April 8.
Redistricting Johnson County
Johnson County is divided into six commissioner districts. The goal is to keep the districts “as compact and equal in population as possible.” Kansas statute requires the Board of County Commissioners to review the county’s districts every three years to ensure the populations are not fluctuating too much between districts, so representation remains fair.
