The Johnson County Airport Commission operates two of the busiest airports in the state, a 1,000 acre industrial park with over 60 resident businesses and organizations with nearly 5,000 private sector employees, a six-mile rail system that moves over 1,000 cars a year, and a water system that distributes nearly 250 million gallons annually.

Airport Commission
The Johnson County Board of Commissioners established the Johnson County Airport Commission (JCAC) on July 18, 1967, to operate, manage, and develop Executive Airport when it was transferred to the County by the City of Olathe.
