Conference focuses on nutrition services

Since 1974, Meals on Wheels America has hosted an annual conference of senior nutrition program leaders, advocates and partners from across the country dedicated to the mission of improving the health and well-being of older adults.

Rental Arrears Assistance Program

Aging & Human Services administers a Rental Arrears Assistance Program funded by HUD's HOME-ARP grant to help eligible households at risk of homelessness by paying past-due rent directly to landlords. This targeted support stabilizes housing, prevents eviction, and connects households to additional wraparound services.

Falls are not a laughing matter

In real life falls aren’t funny. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, falls are serious and costly for older adults. Falls are the leading cause of injury for adults 65 years and older. More than 14 million, or 1 in 4, older adults report falling every year.
