Nutrition Services
Nutrition Services provides hot noon meals at Neighborhood Centers and volunteer-delivered hot lunches to homebound older adults.
Neighborhood Centers
The Area Agency on Aging provides nutritious meals at Neighborhood Centers that offer a variety of activities and educational programs for older individuals in the community.
Home-Delivered Meals
The Area Agency on Aging provides home-delivered meals (Meals on Wheels) to homebound residents, ages 60 and older, and their spouses.
Legal Services
Older adults age 60 and older who are residents of Johnson County receive legal consultation and assistance with access to government benefits, powers of attorney, living wills, landlord tenant issues, etc.
Information and Referral Services
The Johnson County Area Agency on Aging offers a single point of entry for services for older adults. Information specialists are your starting point for locating resources such as in-home services, congregate and home-delivered meals, transportation, legal assistance, insurance, housing and more.
In-Home Services
In-home services provide support for older adults who need services to maintain independent living.
Food Pantry
Johnson County Human Services operates three food pantries in Gardner, Lenexa and Mission.
Disability Supports
Disability Supports advocates for full access to all aspects of Johnson County life for homebound individuals with a physical disability, aged 18-59.
