Johnson County truly appreciates volunteers. The just-concluded Best Times readers’ survey indicated 81% of respondents had an interest or even a strong interest in local volunteer opportunities.
Domestic Court Services
The Domestic unit of Court Services provides services and resources for families going through the separation / divorce process or in post-divorce matters in the Johnson County District Court. These services include mediation and conciliation for separated or divorce parents, written family assessments (home studies) for the District Court, supervised visitation and supervised exchange program.
Adult Probation Services
Resources and services for adult offenders including adult supervision, community service, drug testing, house arrest and pretrial supervision.
